USER DATA DELETION INSTRUCTIONS
In accordance with the Facebook / Meta Platform Terms, the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), and international data privacy regulations (GDPR), Zizz provides clear mechanisms for you to request the deletion of your personal data and revoke platform permissions at any time.
You have full autonomy over your account. Follow the instructions below to remove Zizz from your Facebook account, submit an immediate online deletion ticket, or manage your data directly within the Zizz application.
1. HOW TO DELETE YOUR DATA VIA FACEBOOK (META)
If you connected or logged in to Zizz using Facebook or interacted with Zizz through Meta services, you can revoke permissions and trigger data deletion directly from your Facebook settings:
Log in to your Facebook account and go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
In the left sidebar, scroll down to the Permissions section and click on Apps and Websites.
Locate Zizz (or Zizz Technologies) under your active apps and click View and edit / Remove.
Check the box to confirm and click Remove. Facebook will revoke all data access tokens and send a deletion notice to Zizz.
2. SUBMIT AN ONLINE DATA DELETION REQUEST
If you wish to immediately delete your user profile, waitlist registration, and personal identifiers, please fill out the form below. Our compliance team will process your request within 24 to 48 hours.
3. WHAT DATA IS PURGED VS. STATUTORY RETENTION
Zizz upholds transparent data handling policies in full compliance with Nigerian and international data regulations:
- Account profile details (Name, Contact Email, Phone number)
- OAuth authorization tokens and third-party login profiles
- Device telemetry, fingerprints, and push notification tokens
- Waitlist priority queue registrations and newsletter lists
- In-app support interaction transcripts
As a regulated digital asset offramp and financial technology platform, Zizz is legally required under Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulations and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) statutes to preserve historical transaction ledger records and statutory receipts for a mandatory period of up to 5 years.
*Retained financial records are permanently detached from active profiles, encrypted at rest (AES-256), and inaccessible except for statutory regulatory audits.
